TOP 5 FEARS OF AN AUTISM MOM
Jaime Nystuen on January 07, 2020
This thoughtful article showcases the thoughts that ravage my brain on the regular. Aside from the day to day fears of meltdowns and societal stares, we fear the unknown for our children. The costs, the care, the love they require is not for the faint of heart and that’s why it’s hard to imagine them being provided adequate care by someone else, even a loved one. The author clearly feels the fears she describes and I take solace knowing we are all in this together.
Physician blogger and autism mom, Dr. Anthonette Desire, opens her heart and mind to parents and caregivers of those with special needs. She captures her experiences as an internal medicine doctor and wields it to create a whole new world of educational adventures pertinent to the care and well-being of the caregiver. Peruse the pages and join in the conversation.
